Originally qualifying as a dentist from the University of Dundee in 2008, he further honed his skills during a period in the Head and Neck Surgery Department at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre, New York. Dr. Nimmo is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. It was during his time as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2011 that he delved into the world of aesthetic procedures.
With a commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry, Dr. Nimmo has continued to expand his knowledge and expertise. As an Allergan Medicine Institute Faculty member, he not only provides training in the latest advancements in treatments like Juvederm, HarmonyCa, and wrinkle relaxing injections but also imparts his knowledge as a lecturer at national conferences. In 2022, his dedication to excellence was further recognised when he was selected as one of five UK healthcare professionals to be personally mentored by the world-renowned plastic surgeon, Mauricio De Maio, the mastermind behind the revolutionary 8-Point Lift and MD Codes.
