Prof Ghoz is an honorary Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery with a specialty in minimally invasive hip and knee surgery. He also focuses on computer-guided surgery. His clinic base includes BUPA Cromwell hospital, The London Clinic, and LycaHealth.
Education and Training
He completed his basic surgical training at the Yorkshire School of Surgery then obtained the Specialist Fellowship FCRS in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011 followed by a Fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2013.
In 2014, he received the Australian Orthopaedic Association fellowship for Adult Hip/Knee Arthroplasty, Knee Arthroscopy and Sports medicine at the Mater/Prince of Wales Hospitals in Sydney. Besides, he holds a Master of Science degree from Oxford University specialising in Musculoskeletal Sciences. He has also published multiple peer-reviewed research papers in the field of hip and knee surgery.
International Experience
At the University Hospital of Moldova, Prof Ghoz has the position of a Visiting Professor in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in addition to being an Honorary Professor and Head of International Affairs for Deraya University in Egypt. He also speaks regularly about his specialist interests at national and international meetings.
His global surgical experience ranges from work in Australia to Eastern Europe, Asia as well as the Middle East and continues to provide regular expert surgical work in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
Volunteer work
Prof Ghoz is a regular volunteer at Chişinău Emergency University Hospital in Moldova in addition to recently doing charity work through operating on military personnel.
Personal
On a personal level, Prof Ghoz enjoys playing football regularly with his son as well as various sporting activities with his daughter
