About Dr Raj Amarnani
Biography
Dr Raj Amarnani is a Consultant in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine with additional expertise in inflammatory arthritis and immune health. He specialises in the diagnosis and non-surgical management of joint, muscle, tendon and bone conditions, treating both acute sports injuries and longstanding musculoskeletal problems.
Raj works as an NHS Consultant at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). He is also President of the Royal Society of Medicine’s Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Section and a Trustee and Medical Advisor for the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society. He has contributed to two EULAR task forces developing international recommendations relating to physical activity and fatigue in rheumatic diseases.
His professional memberships include the Royal College of Physicians, the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and the Royal Society of Medicine.
