Dr Nick Walsh

Nick studied medicine at the University of Manchester, including a 1 year BSc(Hons) in History of Medicine. He did his Foundation training and then started psychiatry training in Manchester. He relocated to London and continued training on the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s training scheme. In 2014, he became a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, with a sub-specialty endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. After 7 years as a Consultant in East London, Nick left the NHS in 2021.Dr Nick Walsh is a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist with over 8 years of experience as a consultant, including at The Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital. He has extensive experience in in the management of anxiety, depression and PTSD as well as medically unexplained symptoms, chronic pain, mental health problems associated with long-term physical illness and somatization/conversion disorders. He has particular expertise in mental health problems in LGBT people. Dr Walsh also sees patients with adult ADHD and adult autism.

In addition, Dr Walsh sits on the CASC examination panel of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, which sets and oversees the final examination that all psychiatrists must pass before they can become members of the College and obtain their ‘MRCPsych’ designation.

He now works exclusively in private practice and sees patients at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street, Priory Wellbeing Centre Fenchurch Street and Priory Hospital Hayes Grove.
