Dr Mohammed Salam

Dr Salam is a Consultant Audiologist with extensive experience in both the NHS and private practice. He completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate training at the world-renowned UCL Ear Institute, and also holds a Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida.

An expert in his field, he is able to diagnose and manage the majority of hearing and balance-related disorders. His exceptional clinical and academic background ensures he stays abreast of the latest cutting-edge research in his field, enabling him to offer the highest level of evidence-based care to all his patients to ensure the best possible outcomes. He is the founder and clinical lead of London Ear Centre (https://londonearcentre.com), one of London's pre-eminent independent audio-vestibular practices based within the Harley Street vicinity of London. He also works alongside some of the country's leading consultants and can arrange timely referrals where required.

He has particular interests in complex balance assessment and the provision of high-quality ear care. He was instrumental in setting up the UK's first private one-stop multi-disciplinary balance clinic, working alongside ENT consultants and neuro-physiotherapists to offer patients immediate access to expert holistic care.

Being a founding member of the internationally renowned Ear Care Academy, he is also heavily involved in the training and supervision of students and clinicians in carrying out ear care-related procedures to the highest and safest clinical standards. Further, he is an honorary lecturer at UCL Ear Institute, where he regularly lectures on the provision of high-quality ear care.
