Gunasuntharam Nimalan

Dr Gunasuntharam Nimalan is an experienced General Practitioner and GP Partner currently practising in South London. He has worked as a GP Partner since 2007, with extensive experience in primary care, chronic disease management, preventative medicine, and clinical leadership. Dr Nimalan graduated with an MD from Charles University in 2002 and completed postgraduate training in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, and surgery prior to completing GP vocational training in Hertfordshire.His professional interests include diabetes care, preventative healthcare, and medical education, including work as a St George’s Spoke Tutor. He is known for providing compassionate, patient-centred care with a strong focus on continuity of care, safety, and evidence-based practice. Alongside his professional commitments, Dr Nimalan places strong importance on family life and maintaining a balanced, compassionate approach to both personal and professional responsibilities. He lives with at home with his wife, an Emergency Medicine Consultant and his three daughters.
