Dr Arup Sen is a highly distinguished consultant physician based in London, with triple accreditation in Geriatric, Stroke and General Medicine. Dr Sen adopts a holistic, patient-centered approach, tailoring his consultations to meet the unique needs and values of the individual. He is dedicated to empowering his patients, involving them in every step of their treatment to optimise their health and well-being.
Dr. Sen’s specialist expertise encompasses a broad range of conditions, including stroke, transient ischaemic attack (TIA), cerebral small vessel disease, comprehensive geriatric assessment, hypertension, dementia and syncope.
Within his NHS role, Dr Sen contributes his expertise to the Geriatric Medicine department at University College Hospital, a leading London teaching hospital affiliated with University College London (UCL). Additionally, he consults within the comprehensive stroke service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, which is renowned as the UK’s largest specialised hospital for neurological care.
Dr. Sen earned his medical degree with distinction from St George’s University of London, alongside an intercalated BSc (Honours) in Medical Sciences from UCL. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and has extensive clinical experience.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Sen is committed to advancing medical care through research and innovation. He has presented his work at international conferences and published extensively in reputable medical journals.
