These Terms & Conditions apply to the LIPS Healthcare GP Membership Scheme.
By registering for a GP Membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
- The GP Membership Scheme is provided by LIPS Battersea Limited, trading as LIPS Healthcare.
- LIPS Battersea Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 15262656.
- Registered office: Solar House, 282 Chase Road, London, United Kingdom, N14 6NZ.
- References to "we", "our" and "us" mean LIPS Battersea Limited trading as LIPS Healthcare.
- References to "you", "your" and "member" mean the individual registered under the GP Membership Scheme.
2. Membership Eligibility
- Residents & Employees GP Membership is available to eligible Battersea Power Station residents and employees only.
- We may request evidence of eligibility before activating membership benefits.
- If eligibility cannot be verified, we may refuse, suspend, amend or cancel membership.
- Children's memberships are only available when a parent or guardian holds an active adult membership.
- If the linked adult membership ends, the children's membership may also end or become invalid.
- Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred.
3. Membership Benefits
Adult Membership Includes
- Up to six GP consultations per membership year.
- 50% off additional GP consultations.
- 50% off urgent care consultations.
- One included GP consultation which may be used as an annual health assessment, including a GP review and preselected blood test.
- Annual flu vaccination.
- Prescription services, including repeat prescriptions and delivery service where available.
Battersea Power Station Member Benefits
- 10% off imaging and diagnostic tests.
- 10% off pharmacy retail.
- 20% off travel vaccinations and immunisations for adults and children.
Children's Membership Includes
- Up to six GP consultations per membership year.
- 50% off additional GP consultations.
- Annual GP wellbeing review.
- Annual flu vaccination.
- 50% off urgent care consultations.
Physiotherapy Add-On Includes
- Three physiotherapy sessions per membership year.
- 15% off additional physiotherapy sessions.
Additional Conditions
- Included consultations, vaccinations and physiotherapy sessions are limited to the allowances within each membership year.
- Unused benefits cannot be refunded, transferred, exchanged for cash or carried forward.
- The annual health assessment uses one of the included GP consultations.
- The blood test included in the annual health assessment is selected by LIPS Healthcare.
- Urgent care discounts apply to consultation fees only.
- Additional investigations, referrals, treatments, prescriptions, imaging and blood tests are charged separately.
- Membership discounts apply only to eligible services and do not apply to packages, promotional offers or third-party services unless stated otherwise.
- Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless agreed by us.
- Standard GP appointments are 15 minutes unless otherwise specified.
- Appointments remain subject to clinician and clinic availability.
- Telephone and video consultations may be offered where clinically appropriate.
- We may amend or withdraw membership benefits where reasonably necessary.
4. Price and Payment
- Membership pricing is confirmed during registration.
- Membership fees may be paid monthly or annually.
- Monthly payments do not change the minimum 12-month membership term.
- Annual memberships may include discounted pricing.
- Payments must be made using an approved payment method.
- Membership benefits may be suspended if payments are overdue.
- Any services not included within membership must be paid separately.
- We may update membership pricing from time to time.
- Price changes will not affect the initial minimum 12-month term unless required by law, regulation or circumstances beyond our control.
- Updated pricing may apply upon renewal after the initial term.
5. Minimum Term, Renewal and Cancellation
- Memberships are subject to a minimum 12-month term.
- Monthly payments continue throughout the minimum term.
- Early cancellation does not remove the obligation to pay the remaining balance unless otherwise agreed.
- You may cancel within 14 days of registration and receive a full refund if no benefits have been used.
- Where benefits have been used during the cooling-off period, their value may be deducted from any refund.
- After the cooling-off period, membership fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
- Monthly memberships require at least 30 calendar days' written notice to cancel.
- Annual memberships remain active until the end of the paid membership year.
- Membership may automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
6. Appointments and Cancellations
- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be treated as used from your allowance or charged in line with the cancellation policy.
- Repeated missed appointments may result in suspension or termination of benefits.
- Appointments remain subject to availability.
- Longer appointments, investigations, referrals or treatments may incur additional charges.
7. Clinical Care and Emergency Services
- The GP Membership Scheme supports routine and ongoing private GP care.
- It is not an emergency medical service.
- In a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency department.
- Members are strongly encouraged to remain registered with an NHS GP.
- Clinical services are provided according to clinical need and professional judgement.
- Membership does not guarantee prescriptions, referrals, tests or treatments.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate membership where:
- Payments remain outstanding.
- Benefits are used fraudulently or by someone other than the registered member.
- Eligibility cannot be verified.
- Repeated appointments are missed without notice.
- Behaviour towards staff or patients is abusive, threatening or inappropriate.
- Circumstances outside our control prevent continuation of the scheme.
Fraudulent or unauthorised use may result in membership being withdrawn without refund.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the scheme.
10. How We Use Your Information
We process personal information in accordance with UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Notice.
Your information may be used for:
- Providing healthcare services.
- Administering membership.
- Processing payments.
- Managing bookings and clinical records.
- Communicating important membership information.
- Improving services.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
11. General
- Membership benefits and pricing may change from time to time.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains valid.
- We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.
- These Terms are governed by English law.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement relating to the GP Membership Scheme.
- By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
