Synopsis
Francesca Howes is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, graduating from King's College University London with a 1st class honours in 2011. Since then she has gone on to obtain my Masters (MSc) with Distinction in Advanced Physiotherapy from Hertfordshire University.
Her career spans both NHS and private sectors. Within the NHS she works at a major London teaching hospital as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist working within Spinal Surgery and Musculoskeletal triage. Francesca's private experience has involved treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions from adolescents through to older adults, from work-related nagging neck pain to sudden sports injuries and consequent rehabilitation, and everything in between.
History
Francesca is also a trained Pilates instructor with over 7 years of experience teaching Pilates, as well as a trained and experienced acupuncturist with over 5 years delivering this treatment modality. Francesca is registered with HCPC, CSP, AACP and the APPN (Advanced Physiotherapy Practice Network). Outside of her practice, she is a visiting lecturer at Hertfordshire University and tutor physiotherapy, osteopathy and sports science students.
